Get a grip on your sustainability policy with Footprint4All

Sustainability is a relative concept. When are you really sustainable? A life cycle assessment provides insight into the carbon footprint of your company per component. With scientifically substantiated numbers you know exactly how sustainable your company is. This way you can set targeted objectives and invest to reduce the footprint.

Footprint4All offers you the possibility of easily calculating your company's carbon footprint yourself, without expensive consultants.

Become measurably sustainable with scientific numbers

What you get with Footprint4All

Insight into the structure of your footprint

You gain insight into the structure of your footprint based on important factors such as heating, electricity, business transport, water use and waste.

User-friendly online environment

In the user-friendly environment of Footprint4All you can easily and quickly enter your data and you will get your results immediately.

See the result of saving measures

After the calculation, you can immediately see the CO2-hotspots on your dashboard, so that you can take action right away. Repeat the calculation annually or even monthly and you will immediately see the result of the saving measures taken.

Insight helps to reduce costs

The life cycle analysis (LCA) provides the insight you need to make targeted investments and thus save costs. No more investments that you have to write off prematurely, because later it turns out that other measures are needed to achieve your objectives. You will stay sharp in the choices you make. And do you already know what you would have to pay if the CO2 tax is also a fact for your company? You will earn back the investments you make now even faster.

Frequently asked questions

A carbon footprint is the calculation of the total greenhouse gas emissions of an organization. All activities in and around a company cause the emission of CO2 and other greenhouse gases. Consider, for example, the transport of suppliers, the use of electricity, commuting, water use and waste generation.

Mapping the carbon footprint of a company provides insight. With this solid foundation you can take steps to become more sustainable.

The carbon footprint focuses on all greenhouse gas emissions, expressed in kilograms of CO2-equivalents (kg CO2-eq). These equivalents makes it possible to come to a single metric for climate change. It is an indicator of the potential global warming due to greenhouse gases in the air.

An environmental footprint is a bundle of different types of impact results. An environmental footprint includes more than 15 different impacts on the environment, including the carbon footprint.

Greenhouse gases ensure that heat is retained and as a result the temperature on earth rises. Without greenhouse gases the earth would be freezing cold, but with too many greenhouse gases it will become too hot. The increase in CO2 is mainly caused by the combustion of petroleum, natural gas and coal.

An environmental footprint is a number that indicates the impact that a company or a product has on the environment. It gives sustainability a number. The environmental footprint is determined according to a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). An LCA calculates the influence of various business processes and actions of a product on the environment. From raw materials, production, distribution, use to waste processing.

With Footprint4All you gain insight into the structure of your footprint based on important factors such as:

  • Heating (gas consumption)
  • Electricity
  • Commuting
  • Supplier transport
  • Water usage
  • Waste

It may happen that a customer asks for a footprint calculation in order to comply with guidelines from, for example, the SBTi (Science Based Target Initiative). These are science-based targets that show organizations how much and how quickly they need to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions to mitigate the worst effects of climate change.

To set Science Based Targets, an organization must calculate its footprint, which consists of Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions. The last scope (3) concerns indirect emissions caused by business activities of other organizations that are related to the company's activities. This means that your business activities fall under the scope 3 of your customer. So be well prepared by calculating your footprint.
